Driven by digital transformation and the commercialization of innovative achievements, the orthodontic industry is embracing new development opportunities.On December 28, 2024, a major event focused on the digital transformation of the oral healthcare industry — the Sichuan Province Digital Transformation Promotion "City Tour" Digital Dentistry Event and the 2nd Innovation Achievement Commercialization Competition of West China Hospital of Stomatology, Sichuan University — was grandly held in Ziyang.
The conference was guided by the Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission (Provincial Data Bureau) and the Ziyang Municipal People’s Government, and co-hosted by West China Hospital of Stomatology, Sichuan University, the Sichuan Digital Economy Research Center, and the State Key Laboratory of Oral Diseases. The event brought together dental industry elites, experts, scholars, and corporate representatives from across the country.
As a pioneer in the field of orthodontics and a partner of West China Hospital of Stomatology, Sichuan University for its rigorously selected products, Dr.Clear Aligner was well represented at the conference. Several senior executives attended, including Chairman Mr. Tian Fangjun, Deputy General Manager Ms. Liang Xiaoguang, and Director of the Medical Quality Control Center Ms. Qu Dan. Together with West China Hospital of Stomatology and industry peers, they shared insights and explored future development.
At the launch ceremony, Ziyang Mayor Zhao Haoyu, Second-Level Inspector of the Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission Chen Wei, and Vice President of Sichuan University Ye Ling delivered speeches. Party Secretary of West China School of Stomatology Tan Jing, representing the organizers, extended a warm welcome and heartfelt gratitude to all leaders and guests in attendance.
During the conference, West China School of Stomatology showcased its notable achievements in the digital transformation of oral medicine, including the release of innovative orthodontic diagnosis and treatment outcomes, the pre-launch of the West China Dental Intelligent Connectivity Model, and the presentation of a teledentistry collaboration platform and a digital virtual simulation teaching platform for dentistry. These achievements not only set a new benchmark for the orthodontic industry but also provided valuable collaboration opportunities for partners like Dr.Clear Aligner.
In her speech at the conference, Ms. Qu Dan, Director of the Medical Quality Control Center at Dr.Clear Aligner, stated that the company has always regarded scientific research and innovation as the core driver of its development, committed to addressing clinical pain points through advanced technology to provide patients with higher-quality and more convenient services. She also shared the latest achievements of Dr.Clear in the field of digital orthodontics, which received high recognition and praise from the attending experts and peers.
