The orthodontic industry in China has developed rapidly in recent years, yet many unresolved questions remain worthy of deeper exploration, particularly certain clinical technical issues that have drawn widespread attention from academia and the industry.
Dr.Clear Aligner, a brand under Born Group and one of the domestic brands in the orthodontic field, is keenly aware of this. We have been accelerating the pace of clinical research and development.
To better serve our users, resolve clinical issues more swiftly, fulfill our mission and vision, and better support orthodontists across the country, the Dr.Clear Western Medical Center was officially established in Chengdu on February 17, 2022!
Let us review the highlights and key information from the opening ceremony to inspire our fellow orthodontic colleagues and envision the future together.

Registration
Before the ceremony began, our dedicated Dr.Clear staff arrived early to prepare the venue, and the doctors and professors also came early to register.

Keynote Presentations
The ceremony host and Western Region Sales Director, Liang Xiaoguang, delivered the opening address. She said, "I am truly excited today! This is my 4th year with Dr.Clear. Looking back, when I first joined, I was the only one in the Western Region. Today, our sales team and partners together far exceed one hundred people! Reflecting on our journey with Dr.Clear, it has been a path of hardships and songs!

This year also marks the 6th anniversary of Dr.Clear. Six years of forging ahead, six years of continuous optimization and innovation, have enabled us to offer not only mature clear aligner products but also comprehensive whole-periodic products for children. Over these six years, we have grown from a few cases to tens of thousands of cases.
Our original aspiration has never changed over these six years. Driven by our mission to better help Chinese dentists excel in clear aligner treatment and pediatric facial management, we established the Chengdu Western Medical Center this year. The Dr.Clear Western Medical Center is one of the four major centers nationwide. Its establishment marks a milestone in Dr.Clear's development, signifying that our medical advancement has reached a new level, allowing us to better serve dentists and patients in the western region."

Subsequently, Mr. Tian Fangjun, Founder of Born Group and CEO of Dr.Clear, delivered a speech at the ceremony. Chairman Tian introduced the overall development journey of Born Group, emphasizing that the company has always stayed true to its original aspiration, hoping that every Chinese person can afford orthodontic treatment and receive quality care.

Mr. Tian Fangjun also stated: "Clinical practice is paramount; only through practice can we gain true knowledge. The establishment of the Dr.Clear Western Medical Center holds significant strategic importance. We hope that through the development of clinical centers, we can provide more comprehensive and efficient support to dental professionals, advancing the progress and development of China's oral healthcare industry."
Professor Zhao Zhihe, an academic and technical leader in Sichuan Province's stomatology field from West China Hospital of Stomatology, also attended the ceremony in person. Professor Zhao stated, "I would like to share three reasons for attending the establishment ceremony of the medical center. First, as a Chinese orthodontist, in recent years, we have observed in clinical practice that with socio-economic development and the improvement of people's living standards, the public's pursuit of a better life has increased, and the demand for orthodontic treatment continues to expand.
Last year, the number of new orthodontic cases in China reached 3 million, the same as the annual number of new orthodontic cases in the United States. However, the US has a population of over 300 million, while China has 1.4 billion. Based on this ratio, there is still 4 to 5 times more room for growth in China's orthodontic field.
Therefore, meeting the demand for orthodontic treatment requires the joint efforts of orthodontists and orthodontic manufacturers.

Second, according to the latest census, Chengdu's population has reached 20 million, with an annual increase of 500,000 residents. Chengdu therefore possesses a significant demographic advantage.
Additionally, Chengdu is located in the western region and serves as a growth hub for the west. The entire Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Xinjiang, Tibet, and Qinghai regions regard Chengdu as a key partner. Dr.Clear's decision to establish its medical center in Chengdu, following Beijing and Shanghai, reflects confidence in Chengdu's future development and the future of orthodontics in the region.

Third, Ziyang is my hometown, and the China Dental Valley is located there. Born Dent, as one of the first enterprises to settle in the China Dental Valley, has driven the influx of numerous domestic dental companies into the valley, which is now developing very well. I hope everyone has the opportunity to visit the China Dental Valley in Ziyang."

Following this, Professor Yuan Lintian, a professor at the Fourth Military Medical University and Dean of Yuan Lintian Children's Dental Hospital, delivered a speech: "I am deeply moved, because we stand here for a shared dream — to strive for the development of Chinese dentistry through hard work, dedication, and perseverance.
Children are the future of our nation. We must prioritize pediatric oral health, ensuring that more children in China have access to better medical solutions, so that the flowers of our nation can win at the starting line.
Everyone must carry their country in their hearts to make meaningful contributions to the nation."

Dr. Qu Dan, Medical Director of Dr.Clear Western Region, delivered a speech: "The establishment of the Dr.Clear Western Medical Center is the crystallization of team spirit and collective wisdom, marking a milestone of leapfrog development.
With economic development, people's expectations for aesthetics are rising, which also places higher demands on us.
Therefore, we must cultivate three mindsets: first, an unrelenting pursuit of excellence; second, a quality-first approach; and third, integrity and trustworthiness.
Running a business is like being a person — we must establish a strong reputation to earn greater trust and support. Although we are now officially open, there are still areas for improvement and development. In the future, we will take every step steadily, embracing integrity, dedication, innovation, and the spirit of pursuing excellence to compete in the market and embrace a brilliant tomorrow."

Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony
The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the establishment of the Dr.Clear Western Medical Center was jointly performed by Professor Zhao Zhihe, academic and technical leader of Sichuan Province's stomatology field from West China Hospital of Stomatology; Professor Yuan Lintian from the Fourth Military Medical University and Dean of Yuan Lintian Children's Dental Hospital; Mr. Tian Fangjun, Chairman of Born Group and CEO of Dr.Clear; Ms. Kong Liying, Vice President of Human Resources at Born Group and President of Born Enterprise University; Mr. Zhang Jiang, Marketing Director of Dr.Clear; Dr. Qu Dan, Medical Director of Dr.Clear Western Region; Ms. Pang Yutong, CEO of Qinqin Dental; and Ms. Liang Xiaoguang, Sales Director of Dr.Clear Western Region.
